Finished 1st

In heavy snow and with the track almost unraceable, she seemed to thrive in the conditions and finally got her head in front with an easy with after finishing second in her last four runs.

*Sail Home - Wolverhampton

Finished 2nd

Running quickly after last week's win, she had every chance but was just always held by the winner.


28th January

*Emma's Gift - Lingfield

Unseated rider

Looked to be making a move when badly hampered and stumbled three furlongs from the finish.

Finished 2nd

Made the running but could have probably done with a stronger test of stamina.

*Spirit of Sharjah - Meydan, Dubai

Finished mid-division

Having his fourth run in as many weeks, the busy schedule seemed to have caught up with him as he ran a bit flat.

Had been threatening to win in recent starts and she did it really well, quikening away impressively to get us off the mark for 2012.

A very promising debut, he was in the mix until getting tired and just being edged out for third place.

Spirit of Sharjah - Meydan, Dubai

Finished 3rd

Ran an absolute belter having made up loads of ground from the rear in the straight and the winning line just came too soon.

*Canning Vale - Lingfield

Finished towards the rear

Was not suited by the slow early pace


12th January

Finished mid-division

Had every chance but was just caught for speed in the closing stages. Still picked up $2,200 prize-money for coming 6th.

Started slowly again and could never get competitive

Finished mid-division

Held up in rear, he could never get competitive due to a slow early pace.

Held up, he could never get into contention.

*Blackmore - Southwell

Finished 2nd

A winner gone begging. The jockey ignored her front running orders and didn't do a lot in the finish. He is at least coming back into top form.

*Canning Vale - Kempton

Finished 3rd

Ran an absolute blinder, only being beaten two lengths by the winner. This should set her up nicely for handicaps now.

Finished mid-division

Couldn't get in front as she likes so never enjoyed the race.


19th December

*Entrance - Wolverhampton

Finished mid-division

Could never get competitive in a race which suited front runners.


18th December

Finished 2nd

Second for the third consecutive time, she just needs that bit of luck to get her head in front.

Another placed effort without looking like winning.

*Spirit Of Sharjah - Lingfield

Finished 4th

Only beaten 3/4 length in a tight finish, this run should put him spot on for his trip to Dubai.

Is gradually getting his confidence back after a back injury and this was his best effort in a long while.

Put a disappointing first run for us behind him with an effort full of promise which could see him win a race soon.

Couldn't get into her usual front-running tactics from a wide draw.

Ran well but seems to be in the handicapper's grip at the moment.

Another good run, she ran as expected.

*Dolly Bay - Wolverhampton

Finished mid-division

Ran a bit too free;y early on and didn't see put the trip.

After suffering from a back injury, hopefully this better effort will do his confidence good.

After a very slow start, she was never a factor.

Coming back from a break, she raced keenly before tiring.

A great effort on her first run on polytrack, hopefully she can win a few races this winter.

Finally showed some of the ability we thought she had, this good run should set her up for a win soon.

A pleasing comeback run after a short break.

Travelled well before finding little in the finish. May have been feeling the effects of a few quick runs lately.

Didn't seem to handle the soft ground.

Ridden with restraint, she came back to her best with a solid runner-up effort.

Lost a front shoe early in the race but showed promise.

Raced slightly too keenly and didn't stay the 1m4f distance.

Came there with a promising run in the final furlong but didn't look too enthusiastic about winning.

Remarkably hasn't been out of the first four in his last nine runs and he continued his consistent streak with another solid performance.

Finished 1st

Gaining her 11th win on her 101st run, she also managed to give jockey Shelley Birkett her first ever winner.

*The Ducking Stool - Folkestone

Finished mid-division

Pulled too hard and disliked the track.


13th August

*Emma's Gift - Newmarket (Grey horses race)

Finished mid-division

Found the 6f distance too short and the ground too soft.

On his first run for us he showed his best form in well over a year.

Got wound-up in the stalls and never showed her true ability.

Running in a hot maiden, he showed some promise and will come on for this debut.

Apleasing debut, she will come on for this run.

Didn't seem to enjoy the application of a tongue strap.

*King Columbo - Yarmouth

Finished 3rd

Racing on his favoured soft ground for the first time this year, he ran a good race.

Continued his good form at Wolverhampton and was unlucky to lose by just a head.

Didn't show much enthusiasm and she will be tried in blinkers next time.

Making her debut, she ran with inexperience early on before getting the hang of things near the finish.

Travelled well before not picking up in the closing stages.

Never looked happy on the fibresand surface

Seemed to handle the track well and this was an up to form run.

Finished 4th

Tried to make all the running but her stamina ran out. She will be better dropped back in distance to six furlongs.

Finished mid-division

Slightly disappointing, she had everything in her favour but finished tamely. That said, there were some improving youngsters that finished ahead of her.

Ran on strongly after being held up off the pace and she reamins in good heart.

*Generous Genella - Pontefract

Finished 3rd

Finally showed on the racecourse the ability we knew she had. This was by far her best performance to date and she looks ready to win a race now.

Finished mid-division

Didn't get the clearest of runs and he lost ground at a vital stage. Is better than this.

*Emma's Gift - Newmarket

Finished 5th

Ran her usual game race but just needs some help form the handicapper.

Finished mid-division

Another disappointing run and she will go to the sales next month.

Finished mid-division

Has never really shown his best on turf and he will be kept to the all-weather.

Finished towards the rear

Racing in a higher grade than usual, he struggled towards the finish.

Enjoyed the rain-softened ground and she ran a game race after a short holiday.

The heavy showers before racing meant he couldn't show his best on slow ground.

Raced a bit too keen and didn't finish very strongly.

Struggled against some decent horses.

*Sunny Spells - Market Rasen

Slipped on bend

Was travelling well when slipping on the bend with a circuit to go. Horse and jockey were fine afterwards.

Finished 5th

Travelled well but then showed inexperience when asked to quicken. A nice introduction.

*King Columbo - Newbury

Finished 6th

Travelled well but didn't stay the 1m2f. Will be better over one mile on soft ground.

*Entrance - Nottingham

Sent off the 40/1 outsider, she showed her improvement for a break by gamely winning by a length. Hopefully she can build on this and win some more.

As per usual, he found the distance a bit too short and it is a shame there are not more races on the flat over more than two miles.

Finished mid-division

Ran much better with the tongue strap on and her breathing improved as a result. She travelled well but then didn't stay the 1m4f trip.

Finished 5th

Ran a blinder in a highly competitive handicap. He looked booked for third place before his stamina ran out in the last half a furlong

*King Columbo - Goodwood

Finished mid-division

Settled in a nice position but couldn't quicken towards the finish.


2nd June

*Premier League - Southwell

Finished 1st

Travelled strongly behind the leaders and despite hanging under pressure, he won easily.

*Emmeline Pankhurst - Leicester

Finished mid-division

Travelled well through the race but didn't seem to be happy when hit with the stick.

*Red Hearts - Yarmouth

Finished 3rd

Running in a hot novice race, she ran a blinder after making the running and being hampered a furlong from home.


28th May

*Sunny Spells - Stratford

Finished mid-division

A pleasing third run over hurdles, he jumped well and now qualifies for handicaps.

Finished 1st

Ridden with confidence, she took advantage of a weak race to win the 10th race of her career by almost five lengths.

*Sail Home - Pontefract

Finished mid-division

Didn't look happy on the tight turns of Pontefract and she will be better on a more galloping course.

Finished mid-division

Jumped well but looked slightly outpaced most of the way so a step up in distance will suit him.

Finished mid-division

A good effort over an inadequate six furlongs. He is beginning to look well handicapped now.

*Emmeline Pankhurst - Goodwood

Finished 5th

A really promising run, she will go close over 1m2f next time.

Looked the likely winner turning for home but just got done for speed towards the finish.

Wasn't very well in at the weights but still ran respectably.

Came back to form after a short break and looked like a step up to one mile is within his reach.

Ran her heart out but was ultimately out-classed.

*Emma's Gift - York (Michael Seely Memorial Stakes)

Finished 5th

Ran a blinder and was terribly unlucky to narrowly miss out on a place.

*Spirit of Sharjah - York (Hambleton Stakes)

Finished mid-division

Had a wide draw and could never get to the leaders.

*Blackmore - York

Finished mid-division

Was never really travelling and jockey Paul Hanagan reported that he was hanging.

*Night Orbit - York

Finished 6th

Struggled to keep with the pace early on but once his stamina kicked in, he really began to fly home.

Finished 1st

Given an extremely positive and aggressive ride, she made all of the running and just held on to a fast-finishing second and won by a head.

*Sancho Panza - Yarmouth

Finished 1st

Completed a brilliant double for the yard, he had little trouble in beating his three rivals and won easily by seven lengths.

*Spirit of Sharjah - Windsor (Royal Windsor Stakes)

Finished last

Held up off the pace, he could never get competitive.

*Emmeline Pankhurst - Brighton

Finished mid-division

Slowly away from the stalls but ran on towards the finish suggesting she needs further.

*King Columbo - Lingfield

Finished 5th

Outpaced early on before running on towards the finish. Will be better over 1m+.

*King Columbo - Salisbury

Finished mid-division

Travelled well but couldn't give 100% on ground that was too firm for him.


28th April

*Red Hearts - Brighton

Finished 1st

Made it two winners in two days after storming up the Brighton hill to win narrowly and land a £10,000 yearling bonus for owner Dick Creese.


27th April

*Emma's Gift - Ascot

Finished 1st


Settled in mid-division she stayed on gamely to win by almost a length and record our first winner at Ascot.
