I was delighted to pick up a new horse this week at the Tattersalls August Online sale. Show Biz Kid is a lovely three year old colt by Acclaimation who has shown plenty of promise in just 6 starts for Richard Hannon. He is on the OWNERSHIP page for full details. The plan is to get him gelded and start him back as he has been out of training since his last run in July. He was bought to replace Macho Sun who was sold at the same sale to Mike Sowersby, to continue his racing career up north. After speaking to Sean Levey who has ridden Show Biz Kid in a couple of races he said he is a steal for £10,000 and they always thought a lot of him in the yard. Off a handicap rating of 76 he hopefully has the ability to take us to some of the nicer meetings. We had some disappointing efforts at the races this week but looking forward to getting back on track next week. Queen's Company returns to Yarmouth on Monday in the race that she won last year. She has been running well in defeat this season and really deserves to get head back in front.
