After no runners this week, we have an easy enough one coming up too with just a pair of entries at Chelmsford on Friday. Alibaba has never shown much form on the all-weather so this will likely be his last go on it before we save him for the turf. He didn't stay 1m4f last time after going a bit too fast early on so the step down in trip is ideal and we might ride him a bit more patiently just to get him to finish a race off and hopefully build his confidence for next time. One horse who is going the right way is Notre Dame and she could head to the Essex track on Friday too. She has been building her form with a third place followed by a close second on her latest start so logic follows that the next should be a first! The race does look quite competitive at the entry stage but she is hopefully an improving type herself. The rest of their yard continue to please me as they step up their work to regain fitness ahead of the new season. A good few of them have strengthened up well over the winter and should be better horses this year. An email update went out to N.E.T. Racing Club members earlier this week but if you missed it you can read it here: https://mailchi.mp/2a5074ed684a/net-racing-club-update-300124 Comments are closed.
