It looks like we can finally say goodbye to the winter/spring conditions we have been working through for the past few weeks and hopefully the last of the morning frosts has gone for a good while! The warmer conditions made a soggy start with plenty of rain this weekend but it was much needed and will help the grass grow and I'm sure all your gardens are looking healthier for it. The team all got soaked during Saturday morning and it was the same for me with Heer's Sadie up at Nottingham. We also took Spanish Mane with her but the ground had gone too soft so we decided not run her as her form on this type of ground in the past was not very good. Most of the team have had a run to blow away the cobwebs after their winter holidays so things will hopefully be on the up results-wise and I'm looking forward to getting them back on the racecourse in the coming weeks. It should be timed well with the further easing in lockdown restrictions later this month which will mean a better experience at the races for owners and a bit of a paying audience too, fingers crossed. Full details should be known in the coming week.
This week sees us with just one runner and it'll be Cabrini heading down the road to Newmarket on Friday for her second career run and a bit more experience under her belt. She learnt a lot from her first race and she'll be a nice horse in handicap races further down the line. The uptake in shares for our recent breeze-up purchase has been incredible and we just have a couple of shares left now. Full details can be found on our OWNERSHIP page if you would like to know more. Comments are closed.
