There were some good efforts from the team this week despite none getting the rub of the green and getting their head in front. Both Heer's Sadie and Corporate Raider filled the runner's up spot at Brighton and hopefully their turn to win again won't be far away. It was great to see Spanish Mane come back to form with a fourth place at Lingfield, especially as she had a bad draw. She always needs a couple of runs to start the season and blow away the cobwebs so it was no surprise she stepped in this run, her third of the season. Running plans for this week's entries are a bit up in the air and depend if tracks get any rain or not. Eloped is Wednesday's runner at Yarmouth and she shouldn't mind it if the ground dries up a bit. The slow pace last time went against her but she still ran well and is unexposed on the turf so I expect her to fare well if things go her way. One horse who will need some rain to come is Mrs Meader at Newbury on Thursday. She won the same race two years ago on good to soft ground and that is the key to her running well. She has been out of action since Doncaster's Lincoln meeting after pulling a muscle but is galloping much better now and is ready for a run when she gets her conditions. We will have two others on Thursday at Nottingham. Notre Dame had a successful winter on the all-weather and she carried that form on to the turf last time with a decent run in defeat, despite meeting a bit of traffic in running. She still has some improvement in her so fingers crossed she can run a big race. Similar comments apply to Stinting Sunset who will also be running there that day. She was a bit too far back at Leicester last time but ran a big race to finish third. If she doesn't get too far behind this time I can see her running well again. Saturday sees us with two entries at Leicester. Rusheen Boy has had a bit of a stop start camping due to foot trouble since looking impressive in a couple of wins over the winter. He is back in good form and I think the straight track at Leicester should suit him. He is still unexposed so should have more to come. Zanagor has had a stop start career too but she is handling her training and racing a lot better now and she should find life a bit easier in handicap company and over a trip which should suit her. We are excited to offer a new syndicate horse who was recently bought from the Tattersalls Breeze Up Sales. She is a strong looking two-year old filly by Group 1 sprint sire Tasleet and out of a mare who won five races. She showed a very good attitude in her breeze and looks ready to kick on with. Only 25% is left in her, in 5% shares. Please see our OWNERSHIP PAGE for more details, photos and videos. Comments are closed.
