Our raiding party at Chelmsford on Thursday went very close but there was no cigar as they all ran up to market expectations with two seconds, a fourth and one unplaced.
Arpina has found some consistent form now since we switched her to front-running tactics and she ran another great race to find only one too good in the first race. Hopefully there is a race she can win in the remainder of the all-weather season.
Fen Tiger was the other horse to fill the runner-up spot and he just bumped into a horse who was better on the day. He looks sure to win when the soft ground comes in the turf season so he's one to remember for then.
Engrave ran another cracker to finish fourth, not beaten far and her consistency is a credit to everyone in the yard. She loves the all-weather and always gives the N.E.T. Racing Club a run for their money. It was great to see another big turnout of owners, some of whom were going racing for the first time.

We have 25 horses in the yard but only six who are running currently, the rest of the team are getting fit in time for the new turf season in the spring. After so many runners this week we don't have any for the coming one so it'll give us a good chance to give the team at home plenty of attention.
