It turned out to be a tough week in the yard despite not too many runners after Ross and Alayna tested positive for covid last weekend which meant that they had to isolate at home for ten days. With Sophie off with a broken hand and Sarah on a pre-booked holiday, it meant that there was a lot of work to do and not many people to do it! I can't thank Poppy, Gemma and Sam enough for their hard work which meant that the horses all got exercised and their usual high standard of care despite the lack of people.
Thankfully everyone bar Sophie is back to work this week so we can get into the usual routine again.
We only have one entry in the week though with Cabrini at Kempton on Wednesday. She has been very consistent with a string of third places to her name and just needs a bit more luck if she is to get her first win on the board. She handled the all-weather well last time so I don't see why she shouldn't be involved once again.
