It's great to see the horses continue to run to form with another pair of placings from Mrs Meader and Engrave who both ran honest races.

Hopefully the form can continue as we have a busy week coming up.
On Monday we head down to Brighton with two runners who both know the track well.
Smokey Malone hasn't managed to win there yet but he's put up some good efforts in defeat and I expect more of the same this time. He's a hold-up horse who needs luck in running so it all depends if he gets the splits.
Spanish Mane loves Brighton and has two wins there already this year. She is holding her form really well and should be in the prize money once again, all being well.

Wednesday is a busy day with four runners at two different meetings.
First up at Lingfield we have Fen Tiger. He's still waiting for some soft ground to show his best but he still ran a great race on quick conditions last time when second at Yarmouth. He seemed to stay the extra distance well that day so nearly two miles around Lingfield shouldn't be a problem and he should have a great chance.
Accompanying him will be Stintino Sunset. She was a bit disappointing last time but came back very jarred up so clearly didn't like the Chelmsford surface. She's had a break to recover and she'll qualify for handicap races after this race and that's probably where she'll be most competitive.

Meanwhile at Kempton, Queen's Company will also be getting back on track after getting jarred up at Chelmsford. She's needed some time to recover and has got a bit fresh in the process, hence the drop back to six furlongs this time. It might be a bit sharp for her but it'll let off some steam for her future targets.
The Mouse King was a very impressive winner at Southwell last week and we're having to run him again quickly before his new rating kicks in. He seems to have come out of the race very well and if he can reproduce that effort on this course, he will take a lot of beating.

The other entry for the week comes on Friday at Newmarket. Lady Clemmie showed promise first time out here on debut and this'll be another bit of experience for her. She is a filly we like for the future.
