There's plenty going on in the yard at the moment with all the horses returning from their winter breaks now back doing two canters a day and it won't be long before they are galloping again and nearing a racecourse return.
I must be getting excited as I've picked out races for them already but who knows what the weather will be doing in a month's time and whether the ground will be firm or soft.

One great bit of news is the return of Alibaba to the races as he has an entry at Kempton on Wednesday.
He was last seen running on King George day at Ascot in 2021 when the firm ground went against him and he picked up a tendon injury. It has been a long time off since then and I can't thank his owners enough for the patience they have shown and thankfully they have been rewarded with a sound horse again.
Ali had shown lots of ability when winning a couple of races and he will very likely need a run or two to get fit again after so long off but I look forward to having him back on the turf with some soft conditions later on in the year.

As well as him on Wednesday, we have Heer's Sadie at Lingfield. She ran an ok race under apprentice Tyrese Cameron last time and we'll repeat the same tactics with the hope that she gets a bit more luck in running and can finish closer this time.

Friday sees us with another couple of entries back at Lingfield.
Corporate Raider ran a very nice debut for us in December but he got a shin splint afterwards so needed some time off to recover. He is feeling much better now and his work has improved too so I feel he can start to show some form. We're still learning about him but hopefully he can give the N.E.T. Racing Club something to cheer.
Accompanying him will be Arpina. I don't think 1m2f has suited her recently so we're stepping back to one mile at a track she has run well at before which can hopefully see her show some better form.
