Newmarket has been a hive of activity with the sales going on at Tattersalls and last week's foal sales are now followed by the fillies & mares sale which we have two horses entered in.
Cabrini was very unlucky not to win a race this year with a string of places to her name. The plan was always to sell her at the ned of this season as she is well bred and will make a lovely broodmare. Her half brother is currently racing in group races in Australia and should improve the pedigree. She is very sound and could race on for another year as well.

Raha is another very sound filly who hasn't had much luck this year with her favoured soft ground not being available during our nationwide dry spell. She is handicapped to win and has been freshened up since her last run ready for training again.

The two fillies sell on Thursday and just to make life a bit more hectic we also have a runner at Chelmsford that day.
Engrave is building back to form and ran a fine second last time. The handicapper put her up 3lb for that which is very harsh so she'll need to improve a bit more but we know she loves the course and she should give it another good go.

Hot Romance is due to run at Kempton tomorrow but I haven't been 100% happy with her over the weekend so we will likely give it a miss. It's nothing serious and she'll be back again in no time.
