Things are very much as they were last week in the yard with all the horses being kept ticking over with their exercise as we keep our fingers crossed that racing will resume at the end of the month. The important thing is that all the staff are fit and healthy and I hope you all are too. We are lucky that we have the excuse of having to look after the horses as I think I would go crazy if I had to stay indoors all day so full marks to everyone across the country who is doing just that to keep the spread of infection as minimal as possible. Since the lockdown though everyone in our village seems to have become an avid rambler as we have had so many people walking through the yard thinking it is a footpath. Officially it isn't and we've had to put fencing and signs in place to stop them as it isn't safe for random people to be walking through when the horses are going in and out of the yard. Royston our dog has even bitten a couple but that still doesn't put them off! We will try to give you plenty to watch from the yard over the coming weeks and you can see all our videos on our dedicated YouTube channel. This week you can see what went on in the yard on Saturday morning as well as hearing from the team as they reminisce about their favourite winners. We have a few ideas for future videos but if there is anything in particular that you would like to see or find out more about, please get in touch. Comments are closed.
