Consistent run

19/8/2017

It's good to know everything was kept in top order whilst we were away in Dingle last weekend as the horses put in some great efforts on the track this week.
Best Example has been slowly building back to form and he took another step in the right direction when finishing second at Yarmouth on Thursday. He seems to be a lot happier horse nowadays and riding him patiently appears to be working too.
Also filling the runner-up spot that day was Tallulah's Quest. She looked like the winner for most of the way but still managed to find one too good, despite pulling six lengths clear of the third horse. It was great to see her bounce back after a shocking run last time and she remains a filly on the up

Keeping up the consistent run was Terri Rules the following day at Wolverhampton. She has now finished fast over 5f twice at the course so she should improve for a step up to 6f there in the future.

We shouldn't be too busy this week with just a few runners to keep us occupied.
My Name Is Jeff has needed his first two runs for the education and he will probably need a bit more before showing his best. He goes for a maiden at Windsor on Monday and will improve for the run.

Tuesday will be a hectic one for us with three horses going to Ascot Sales as well as Secret Strategy down at Brighton.
He has struggled in handicaps since winning a maiden earlier this year but is slowly coming down the weights now. He needed his run at Wolverhampton last week and has winning course form so hopefully he can bounce back.
Elsewhere on Tuesday will be Appease at Yarmouth. He blew up last time over 1m2f so the drop back to one mile looks ideal and he should run a big race.

Thursday could see Tallulah's Quest make a quick reappearance, providing she and the ground are in good condition. She is likely to get a hike in the weights for her last run so it makes sense to run again before that kicks in. If she takes her chance, you would hope she can be bang there at the finish again.
Also entered there is Pitch High. He too only found one too good last time and he is pretty versatile with regards to ground and course. He seems to have hit a good spell at the minute so should run well as well.
