Last chance to win...

4/3/2017

A reminder that this weekend is your last chance to get involved in the free to enter 'Four To Follow' competition which is open to everyone. The entries have been flooding in and it's great that so many names (new and old) have got involved in what should be a great competition throughout the year. Details are at the bottom of this post.

It was a quiet week for runners in the yard with just Gatillo at Chelmsford on Thursday who ran down the field but will be seen in a better light on some soft ground during the turf season.
This coming week looks to be on the quiet side too with just Limerick Lord on Tuesday the only runner. He struggles to get his head in front but usually runs well at the track so he can hopefully come home with some prize money.

As mentioned last week, the horses who enjoyed a winter holiday are now back well into the swing of things and continued their regimes to full fitness by doing a strong canter around the Cambridge Road polytrack.
Although we won't have any really early two-year olds troubling those running in the Brocklesby Stakes at Doncaster's opening Lincoln meeting later this month, our youngsters are all going nicely as they continue their racehorse education and are now at the stage of doing their work in groups. This may seem nothing special but to a young horse going upsides another is a scary prospect as they expect to be kicked or scared off but plenty of practice gets their confidence up and means that, come raceday, they should run nice and straight (and hopefully fast!).
