Yet more!

28/4/2019

I thought last Tuesday was busy enough with six runners at three different meetings but I'll be breaking that record this Tuesday with seven runners at three different meetings!
Before that on Monday, Majestic Moon heads to Southwell where he has been running so well recently. He is up against the usual horses and they seem to take it in turns to win so hopefully it is his turn this time and he can get a well deserved victory.

On to Tuesday and we will again have a big raiding party at Yarmouth with five runners there.
Opening the card are Oud Metha Bridge and Boxatricks in the same race. Both horses want a mile on a straight track so we are obviously very limited with options, hence why they have had to run against each other. Oud is the better of the two but it's a handicap so he has to give plenty of weight to Boxatricks which will make them hard to split. The favourite will be hard for both of them to beat but I hope neither is too far away.
Next up will be N.E.T. Racing Club's Gas Monkey in the 1m2f handicap. He seems to like finishing second which is annoying so we're putting a hood on him here in the hope that it is the noise of a finish which he doesn't like so hopefully he can get his head in front this time. He has the ability to win, he just needs to use all of it!
Spanish Mane was a bit keen and fresh at the track last week so I think she might fare better this time if getting relaxed behind the leaders. She looks a lot better for the run and is handicapped to win a race like this.
As is Approve The Dream in the last race. He needed the race last time after a winter break and the handicapper was very generous in dropping him 3lbs in the weights so he should start to get competitive.
Meanwhile elsewhere on Tuesday, Wilson will be down at Brighton. He stumbled and pulled a muscle at the start last time so can be forgiven his poor performance and this looks a very weak race for the grade. He won at Brighton as a two-year old so the unique undulations of the track shouldn't be a problem and he seems in good health at home.
Rounding off the day at 8.30pm in Chelmsford will be Casey Banter. She has been knocking on the door recently with a few third places and just needs things to go her way to get another win on the board.

If he comes out of Monday's race fresh enough, Majestic Moon might be back at Southwell on Wednesday as there is an identical race with almost the same horses in it! Logical race planning seems to have gone out the window here as the BHA have scheduled identical races together so we might as well make the most of it if he can.

The final entries of the week come at Salisbury on Thursday but it looks unlikely that either Miss Green Dream or Winter Snowdrop will get a run as so many other horses are entered in their races.
